- House Bill 189, Printer’s Number 181 – Summary – amends the Liquor Code to allow for the direct shipment of wine to residents of the Commonwealth and reduces the special liquor order markup paid by licensees from 30% to 10%.
- A02180 – Summary allows another country to obtain a direct wine shipper license, removes the 18% Johnstown Flood tax, places limitations on the number of bottles that can be direct shipped, adds a $1 per gallon excise tax, strengthens the penalties for reselling wine, establishes the PA Wine Marketing and Research program board. For special liquor orders, allows a vendor to make delivery directly to customers, permits the board to refuse to process a special liquor order if the item is substantially similar to a listed item and allows the board to list high demand products.
